The Brain Health Programme
with Registered Nutritional Therapist,
Sarah Mallinson
Picture
Picture
An introductory talk providing an overview of The Brain Health Programme which is based on the work of Professor Dale Breseden (from the Buck Institute in California), an internationally recognised expert in neurodegenerative diseases.

Using a functional medicine approach, Dr Breseden has pioneered a programme that brings scientific advances to sufferers of dementia and cognitive decline via a diet, supplement and lifestyle approach.

After reviewing Professor Dale Breseden's research, Cytoplan – a charitable foundation here in the UK who have a a focus on nutrition and health - wanted to bring this information to the UK and a wider audience. Cytoplan coordinated the Action against Alzheimers Programme and became involved in research headed by Dr Chatterjee and the training of GP’s in the Bredesen Protocol.

From the Action against Alzheimer's program, the Brain Health Program was born which concentrates on the major areas of health that impact brain function. It is designed to optimise brain health and cognitive function using a nutrition and lifestyle approach.

Dementia is the leading cause of death in the UK and a woman has a greater chance of developing Alzheimer's disease than breast cancer.
